Deaconess Ministry assists with the spiritual life of the church, working in conjunction with the Deacon Ministry.
Focused On:
Support various local and foreign charities, i.e. Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Ministry and Humane Society
Assist Deacons with Communion and Baptism services
Assist Deacons with Pastoral care, i.e. Sympathy cards, calls, hospital and home visits
Provide meals for families in need (bereavement/illness)– “Hope Meals”
Organize meals and refreshments for various church activities, i.e. Mother-Child Luncheon, Father-Child Luncheon, and Christmas dinner
Support prayer for those in need through the Prayer Shawls Ministry
HELLO program- Helping Elderly Laugh Love and Overcome
